KillSpills

This year’s KillSpills Rally was more of a celebration than a protest demo. The aim of Ride 617 was to focus attention on what the campaign to end the deadly danger of diesel spills has achieved since Stephen Edwards got it up and running at the Cat and Fiddle Pub in Cheshire four years ago. The 617 name came from the number of road users killed or seriously injured as a result of accidents caused by diesel in recent years.  Met police motorcyclists escorted the riders from Downing Street to Donington Park where they were joined by more supporters for a couple of laps of the circuit – a turn out which just might get them into the record books. More pictures and report in July issue of MCM.
