Heading the bill

Former hod carrier John Evans is the holder of numerous world records for balancing things on his head. At the April show staged by Region Four of the BMF and Greater Peterborough Motorcycle Riders’ Club he added to the list of things he has held aloft, event organiser Sheila McGrath perched rather uncomfortably on a double bed.
His arena show – a little different from the usual display of wheelies, burn outs and other motorcycle stunts – also included going walkabout with headgear that included a stack of tyres and a ‘few’ pints of beer. The show was held to raise funds for the local Air Ambulance and also featured 30 live music acts, bike show and the chance to get yourself a new tattoo or two. Full report June issue MCM.
