What’s so special about Enfields?

Why are 1950s-style, made in India 350cc and 500cc Royal Enfields among the best selling retro bikes in Britain? Andy Walker went along to an open weekend thrown by the UK importers to find out. He had a quick spin on road and off-road models, chatted with fellow enthusiasts and returned home hungry for more. These are some of the pictures Heather Walker snapped before a monsoon stopped play on Saturday.
