Farmyard back in full swing

The Farmyard Rally is the biggest single fund-raiser on the Motorcycle Action Group’s calendar. The money it makes is essential to MAG’s campaigning work. Now if you went to the 2005 Farmyard you know what happened – a flash flood of terrifying intensity.
Fortunately it didn’t strike until the rally-goers had gone but it devastated the site, and marshals who were still there cleaning up lost camping gear, clothes and in one or two cases their bikes.
They were compensated but still a question mark hung over this year’s rally, which moved to higher ground at the same site at Duncombe Park near Helmsley in North Yorkshire. We are happy to report that it was a huge success. About 8000 bikers turned up including MAG man Ian Mutch who snapped away for MCM.
