Brightona packs them in

The first Brightona Bike Fest was held in Brighton last year.  The money raised went to the Brighton Heart Support Trust. The event – Daytona without the need for quite so much suntan lotion – was the idea of Harley trike owner Abby Goldin who wanted to express his thanks for life-saving care after he suffered two heart attacks. This year the fest took off big time. About 4000 bikes and 15,000 people attended and nearly £13,000 was raised for the Trust. Next year it is going to be even bigger and they would like a sponsor.
